The mediastinum is the chest area between the lungs where the heart, great vessels and esophagus are located.

Mediastinal tumors fall into several categories. The majority are curable when the correct approach has been carefully planned and followed. Common tumors include:

  • Thymoma

  • Lymphoma

  • Neurogenic Tumors

  • Germ Cell Tumors
