The Sponsored Programs Administration office has subscriptions to multiple databases of funding opportunities for use by investigators across the institution. Each contains millions of dollars of funding across a broad spectrum of areas and funding sources. Each provides a number of options for searching and locating funding sources relevant to a particular investigator.

Request for Collaborative Translational Pilot Project Applications

Funding up to $50,000.00 for one year 

Due Date:             November 16, 2009

Review:                Review of applications will be conducted by the Scientific Review Committee of the NYU-HHC CTSI during the week of December 14, 2009.

Award Date:         January 1, 2010

The NYU-HHC Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) is seeking applications for translational research pilot projects. The intent of the NYU-HHC CTSI Translational Research Pilot Project Awards is to support collaborative scientific studies for one year to enable development of preliminary data that will serve as the foundation for submission of translational research grant applications.

 

 

New York University- Polytechnic Institute of NYU Seed Grants for Collaborative Research

YEAR 2 – Submission Deadline: January 13, 2010 (anticipated starting date of projects: March 15, 2010)

Awards: In this second year of seed grant proposals, NYU anticipates making about 15 awards with an average award amount of about $65,000. Program funds are to be used exclusively as seed funds for projects that position the faculty teams to successfully compete for extramural funding to sustain the projects in the long term.
