Information about doctors:
Brian P. Harlin, M.D. has recently
joined Dr Brandeis in practice. He is new to the NYU community but a native New
Yorker who went to medical school at Columbia University College of Physicians
and Surgeons and then trained in general surgery at St Luke's/Roosevelt Medical
Center. He also trained at UMDNJ/ Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center. With extensive
laparoscopic surgery and other new techniques, he brings a modern approach to surgery
of the Colon and Rectum.
Steven Z. Brandeis, M.D., F.A.C.S., F.A.S.C.R.S.
has been part of the NYU community for 32 years. He attended NYU medical school,
then did his residency with Frank Spencer in General Surgery at NYU. He trained
with Eugene Salvati at UMDNJ/ Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center for Colon and
Rectal Surgery then returned to offer Colon and Rectal Surgery to the NYU community.
He has been listed in Castle Connely/ New York Magazine's guide to the "Best Doctors" for
the last three years.
