Clinical Responsibilities
Dr. Miles is the director of the pediatric epilepsy program at NYU Medical Center. He is a graduate of Rutgers Medical School and completed residencies in pediatrics at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia and neurology at Children's Memorial Hospital/ Northwestern University in Chicago. He completed fellowship training in epilepsy and neurophysiology at Children's Hospital in Boston. Prior to his arrival at NYU Dr. Miles was director of the pediatric epilepsy program at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. He is been active in the care of individuals with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex for over 15 years. His interests include surgical treatment of epilepsy, treatment of infantile spasms, and the effect of epilepsy on the development of children. Dr. Miles has written both articles and book chapters on multiple topics in the field of pediatric neurology.
