Clinical Responsibilities
Dr. Glazer is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the NYU School of Medicine, and maintains a private practice in General and Addiction Psychiatry where he specializes in both psychotherapy and medication management for Anxiety, Depression, Adult Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD & ADHD), Alcoholism and Drug Addiction. As a Psychiatrist, Dr. Glazer is trained as both a psychopharmacologist and psychotherapist. Dr. Glazer's practice is tailored to the individual, with a strong emphasis on psychotherapy. Medications are prescribed only after careful assessment to augment therapy and treat active symptoms.
Dr. Glazer is a nationally recognized expert in the treatment of physician's mental health. He has presented at the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry, and for the Medical Society of the State of New York. Dr. Glazer is Board Certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry, and is recognized as a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.

Medical Interests
Combined therapy and medication management of depression (and other mood disorders), anxiety, and Adult ADD. As a Board Certified Addiction Psychiatrist, Dr. Glazer treats these disorders alone or when complicated by drug abuse or alcoholism. Drug addictions treated include alcohol, marijuana, amphetamines, painkillers, cocaine and heroin. Dr. Glazer has research interests in private office based treatment of addiction and alcoholism.
