Clinical Responsibilities
Dr. Chu is Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery in the Pediatric Division. She received her medical degree through a highly competitive combined BA/MD program and graduated in the top 20% of her class from UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School, where she was also awarded a full tuition, four-year academic scholarship. Her orthopaedic surgery residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City included a six month rotation at Boston Childrens Hospital in Massachusetts. She then pursued additional fellowship training in Pediatric Orthopaedics at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases under the guidance of Dr. David Feldman and Dr. Wallace Lehman. Her research interests include upper extremity conditions, hip dysplasia, scoliosis, and congenital or post-traumatic deformities.
