Clinical Responsibilities
Dr. Singh is affiliated with the NYU Comprehensive Epilepsy and Neurology Center and Bellevue Hospital Center. She completed her medical education from Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi, India. After doing one year of Internal Medicine training at Wyckoff Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY, she completed a three year Neurology residency at NYU Medical Center (1997-2000). She did 2-years subspecialty fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology (Epilepsy/EEG track)at NYU Comprehensive Epilepsy Center. She is double board certified in Neurology/Psychiatry and Clinical Neurophysiology. Dr. Singh joined as a faculty member at NYU School of Medicine in 2002 and is now working as a Program Director of Adult Neurology Residency Program, Co-Director of Bellevue Epilepsy Center, and Assistant Professor, Teaching Faculty in the Department of Neurology. She runs Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, General Neurology and Epilepsy clinics at Bellevue Hospital. She is also affiliated with NYU Epilepsy and Neurology Center at Charleston Center. She has special expertise in EEG and Epilepsy and has vast experience in treating common neurological problems such as Migraines and other kinds of headaches, strokes, muscle and nerve diseases, neuromuscular disorders, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease. Her interests include women with epilepsy, psychosocial aspects of epilepsy, traumatic brain injury and posttraumatic epilepsy etc. She is actively involved in patient educational support programs.
