Clinical Responsibilities
Dr. Luciano is the Director of the Clinical Epilepsy Program at the NYU Comprehensive Epilepsy Center and an assistant professor of clinical neurology at the NYU School of Medicine. Dr. Luciano received a BA in psychology from Cornell University and then an MD degree from the New Jersey Medical School. He performed a neurology residency and epilepsy fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center before joining the NYU Comprehensive Epilepsy Center. Dr. Luciano's interests include drug and surgical treatment of epilepsy, post-traumatic epilepsy, behavioral aspects of epilepsy and pseudoseizures. Dr. Luciano is the vice-chairman of the professional advisory board of the Epilepsy Foundation of Southern New York and is also a member of the advisory boards of several traumatic brain injury organizations.
