Facilities and Equipment

The Center for Biomedical Imaging (CBI) is located at 650 and 660 First Avenue , with a total of 24,000 square feet of floor space devoted to the Center at these two locations. In addition, Bellevue Hospital houses an 800-square-foot machine/electronics shop for the Center.

650 First Avenue
The CBI has approximately 12,000 square feet of office space on the sixth floor of 650 First Avenue .

660 First Avenue
The CBI has approximately 12,000 square feet of space at 660 First Avenue , housing the research imaging systems, conference room, and additional office space.

Equipment
The CBI's advanced imaging equipment is part of a seven-year collaborative agreement between Siemens Medical Solutions, U.S.A. and the NYU School of Medicine. The agreement makes Siemens the Medical Center 's exclusive supplier of a wide array of highly advanced imaging equipment for research and clinical care. The systems for use in the CBI include:
