Head and Neck Cancer Screening At No Cost To You


Description

Studies show that oral HPV (human papillomavirus) infection is linked to head and neck cancer regardless of two other known risk factors: heavy tobacco and alcohol use.

This screening will focus on cancers of the head, neck and throat. A visual inspection of the head, neck and throat will take place during this screening. Anyone over age 18 is welcome to attend.

Co-sponsored by the Division of Head and Neck Surgery/ Department of Otolaryngology.
