Study of Siblings of Cocaine Dependent Individuals:  Enrolling subjects between the ages of 18-55 (NIDA Study):

If you have not used drugs but have a sibling (with the same Mother AND Father as you) who is dependent on crack cocaine, you can volunteer for this study of the possible electrophysiological traits of drug dependence within families. Drug use is multi-determined and genetics is only one part of the equation. Studies such as this, using EEG to search for familial traits of those at-risk for drug-dependence, may in the future help to prevent such dependence.

If you are interested in participating or in obtaining more information please call the Brain Research Laboratories at 212-263-6288 and identify the study in which you are interested (Cocaine Siblings).
