The Borowiec Lab is Located at School of Medicine within New York
University. The lab focuses on the cellular response to genotoxic
conditions leading to double-stranded DNA breaks or replication
stress. Such conditions are hazardous by virtue of their ability to
stimulate both genomic instability and cellular transformation. In
particular, the laboratory is focused on understanding the many roles
of RPA, the eukaryotic single-stranded DNA-binding protein, in DNA
replication and repair.
