Clinical Responsibilities

Daniel Marrero, MD is a clinical instructor of medicine and is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Marrero is fluent in Spanish and sees patients in Queens and Manhattan, where his clinical interests include non-invasive imaging, valvular heart disease, and preventive cardiology. Dr. Marrero also holds board certifications in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and vascular ultrasound.

He received his bachelor's degree from Queens College and his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. Dr. Marrero completed his internship and residency at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center, where he also served as chief medical resident. Dr. Marrero then completed a three year fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center and, during his training, served as chief cardiology fellow. Dr. Marrero is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American Heart Association, the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, The American Society of Echocardiography, and the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
