Clinical ResponsibilitiesMaxim Koslow graduated from Howard University School of Medicine in 1969. After an internship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, a year of neurology at the National Hospital for Nervous Diseases, London, England and two years as a Clinical Fellow in Surgical Neurology at NIH, he completed his residency at NYU in 1977. Dr. Koslow did a Fellowship at St. Barnabas Hospital Center and Westchester Medical Center in Functional neurosurgery from 1977-1978. Dr. Koslow is the Associate Director of the Bellevue Hospital component of the NYU Neurosurgery program. He has extensive clinical expertise in neuron-critical care, brain tumor surgery, spine surgery, and the surgical management of neurological trauma.
