Dr. Harter attended medical school at Georgetown University, graduating in 1994. After his neurosurgical training and fellowship, he was appointed assistant professor of pediatric neurosurgery at New York Medical College. Because of his unique expertise in endoscopic neurosurgery, in 2005, he was recruited to be the third pediatric neurosurgeon in the Division of Pediatric Neurosurgery at NYU. He also has extensive expertise in the management of congenital and developmental spine disorders in children and young adults. He lectures nationally and has published numerous peer-reviewed manuscripts on pediatric neurosurgery techniques.Languages
