Research Summary

I am an Associate Professor in the NYULMC Department of Radiology, specializing in musculoskeletal radiology. I have conducted a wide range of orthopaedic studies and reviews on the use of imaging in the evaluation of common shoulder ailments, diagnostic errors in the interpretation of imaging, new low radiation dose protocols for CT examinations, and the replacement of CT with MRI for common shoulder injuries. I am also a member of the Center for Healthcare Innovation and Delivery Science at NYU Langone Medical Center, whose mission is to improve patient outcomes by fostering the development of a learning healthcare system.

Research Interests

I am a physician-scientist who studies the appropriate use of imaging in the evaluation of common orthopaedic injuries and ailments in order to improve the value that radiology provides to our patients and clinicians.
