John Delfino, DMD is a clinical professor of Anesthesiology at the NYU School of Medicine and serves as an attending physician in both NYU Langone Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital. He completed his internship and residency in maxillofacial surgery at NYU Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital, and his pain medicine fellowship at Washington University Medical Center. He is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management, the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (OMS) and the American Board of Disability Analysts. Dr. Delfino is a fellow and member of a number of professional associations and societies, including the American Headache Society, and the American Pain Society. He has authored or co-authored over 24 publications and chapters in textbooks, and is the principle investigator or co-investigator on over 17 research projects.
