Vicki Match Suna, A.I.A
Senior Vice President and Vice Dean for Real Estate Development and Facilities

Ms. Match Suna’s responsibilities included the development and management of the Real Estate Portfolio including both commercial and residential properties, owned and leased by NYU School of Medicine, NYU Hospitals Center and the Hospital for Joint Diseases. She oversees the Divisions of Real Estate, Housing Services, Space Planning & Management and Capital Project Services for Planning and Design. Additionally, she directed leasing, acquisitions, and management of the entire off-campus real estate portfolio and is responsible for the space management of over 3.6 million square feet of mixed-use space. As Project Executive, Ms. Match Suna oversaw the development of the award-winning Joel & Joan Smilow Research Center.
Ms. Match Suna is a Registered Architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). She served as a Commissioner on the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission for 15 years and was recently selected by Mayor Michael Bloomberg to serve on the Board of the New York City Economic Development Corporation. She is a member of the New York Society of Health Planning (NYSHP) and a member of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), where she served on the Group on Institutional Planning (GIP) and the professional development committee. She is also an Advisory Board Member for the Louis Armstrong House of Archives and the Governors Island Preservation & Education Corporation. She was an honoree of the NYC Commission on the Status of Women and the recipient of the Art Trek Award from the Queens Council on the Arts.
Prior to joining NYU Langone Medical Center, Ms. Match Suna was an Associate Partner at Lee Harris Pomeroy Associates. Her previous experience includes directing the NYC office of Payette Associates, and positions at Ellerbe Architects & Engineers, SMP Architects and Perkins & Will. She holds a Masters Degree in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
