Program Overview

This program provides training in molecular, cellular and organ system neuroscience and physiology to predoctoral students and postdoctoral fellows. The program is strongly oriented toward research. Fellows and students actively participate in the research by working alongside faculty members in an intensive collaborative environment. Selection is based on both academic excellence and interest in a particular area of research. The 34 participating faculty members represent both basic science and clinical departments. The breadth of the research of the faculty is indicated in the listing on the next page that shows the topics of investigation, the preparations studied and the techniques used.
